Since you are here, it is safe to assume you are in the market for photography. I am going to let you in on two little secrets: I hate to have my photo taken, and I did not take nearly enough photos of my own children when they were growing up. There. I said it! So why would I tell you that? Because chances are, at least one of those hits home. The good news is, you are in the right place!
I started SLP in 2007 with a focus on babies, children and families. Over the years my work has grown to include seniors, fine art school portraits and business and corporate clients. While that sounds like a wide range of photographic work, each feeds creativity in the other in ways I never imagined.
On a personal note, my husband David and I have two grown boy/men Davis and Christian. They are the light of my life (see below). I call myself “eclectic”; my husband calls me undefinable. When I don’t have a camera in my hand you might find me hanging out with my horses Ranger and Macho and their miniature mule Tilly. I drive a truck that is usually quite dirty from hauling animals or venturing through fields to get the perfect photo location. I enjoy a nice glass of wine with a fancy dinner. I hate high heels but love a really good mani pedi. I don’t usually cry in movies, but if you get me talking about my baby boys (now 6’5” and 6’6”) I get all choked up. Undefinable.
There is no better time than now to capture a memory or update your profile and I cannot wait to work with you.
